When money that has been paid to the school is returned to the student. For example, if a student decides to withdraw from the ESL program before the program begins. It is best to research about your school's refund policy, since each school's policies are different.


The act of enrolling at a school.

Required Course

A course that a student has to attend. For example, required ESL courses specifically focus on improving the students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.


An apartment-like housing facility located off-campus. Private room or a rooms or rooms shared with other students are available.

Residence Hall

Also known as "Dormitory" (see "Dormitory").
