Short version: this is an independent directory. We are not a school, not an agent, and not your adviser. You apply to schools yourself, and every figure here should be confirmed with the school before you pay it.
What this site is
ApplyESL is a directory of accredited English-language programs in the United States, compiled from the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation's published list of accredited sites and from the EnglishUSA member directory. Where we publish a price or a number of class hours, we have read it off the program's own published pages and we link to the page we read. Where we have not, the page says so rather than estimating.
What this site is not
- Not an agency. We do not place students, do not process applications, and never charge a student a fee. You apply directly to the school.
- Not immigration advice. The visa material here is general information about published rules. It is not legal advice and does not create any professional relationship. Your circumstances may differ, and the rules change. Confirm your own position with the school, a qualified immigration attorney, or the relevant government authority.
- Not the schools. We have no control over any program listed here, its prices, its admissions decisions, or the quality of its teaching.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every published figure carries the date it was confirmed and a link to its source. That is a statement about what the source said on that date, not a guarantee that it is still true. Tuition changes, sessions are rescheduled, and programs close. Confirm any figure with the school in writing before you rely on it.
Accreditation status is taken from the accreditor's own published list on the date shown. Accreditation can lapse or be withdrawn between our checks. If a listing is wrong,tell us and we will correct and re-date the page.
Links to other sites
Links to schools and to government or accreditation bodies are provided for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or anything you agree to with them. Outbound links to the programs we list carry a parameter identifying this site as the referrer, so the school can see where the visit came from; it carries nothing about you.
How we make money
You apply to and pay schools directly. Outbound links may identify ApplyESL as the referral source. Any paid relationship must be disclosed; our disclosure page explains the policy.
Using the site
- You may read, quote and link to anything here. If you quote a figure, please cite the school's source rather than presenting it as ours.
- You may not scrape the directory wholesale to republish it as your own, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages to the schools listed.
- Please do not attempt to disrupt the site or access parts of it that are not public.
Our responsibility
The site is provided as it is. We take real care with the data. There is an automated gate that refuses to publish a price without a currency and a source URL, but we do not warrant that everything here is complete, current or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute arising out of them belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Washington. If you use this site from somewhere else, this does not take away consumer-protection rights that the law of your own country gives you and does not allow you to waive.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is when the current version took effect, and material changes will move that date.

ApplyESL is operated by Rupe Enterprises LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Washington, United States. It is operated independently: it is not a continuation of, and has no connection to, any previous operator of this domain; no content, branding or student data from any previous site has been acquired or used.
