ApplyESL publishes what English-language programs abroad actually cost and whether you need a visa to take them. We are not a placement agency, we do not charge students, and we do not sell rankings.
What this site is
A directory of 437 English-language programs in the United States, 340 of them CEA-accredited, with the weekly price where the school publishes one, the visa position and a route to apply directly to the school. It is operated by Rupe Enterprises LLC, a small independent publisher in Washington State that also runs other education publications.
Commercial relationships
ApplyESL currently has no commercial agreements with schools or other businesses. We do not charge students to use the directory. You contact and pay the school directly. We may establish partnerships in the future; our disclosure page explains how paid relationships will be identified.
Editorial rankings and ordering are never for sale. Any future paid placement will be labeled.
Where the data comes from
Program names, locations and course types are compiled from schools' own published material and from two sources: the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation's accredited-sites export, and the EnglishUSA member directory. We publish no estimated prices. A figure appears only once we have read it off the school's own page, and the page it came from is linked next to it; a build gate refuses to publish any tuition without a currency and a source URL. Missing prices indicate gaps in our verified records; they do not establish that a school publishes no price. We are working through the directory and will not pretend a number is confirmed before it is.
What we are not
We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of any previous business that operated at this web address. Any earlier service is unrelated to this one, and no content, account, or student record from any previous operator has been carried over.
Corrections
If we have a price, an intake date or a visa statement wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say when we did. Schools that want their listing corrected or removed can contact us directly.
