Where the programs actually are

437 English-language programs across 40 states and 204 cities. Four states hold 52 percent of them, which is worth knowing before you fix on a destination.

Too few to compare within the state, so they are listed here rather than on a page of their own. Every one is in the full directory, which filters by state.

Why only the United States right now

This directory is built from two US sources, the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation's accredited-sites export and the EnglishUSA member directory, so it covers the United States and nothing else. We would rather publish one country completely and accurately than four countries partly. Nothing goes up until it comes from a published list rather than from guesswork.
