Current commercial relationships
Status checked September 22, 2026: Two Teach English credential guides include sponsored education listings supplied by our affiliate partners. ApplyESL may earn affiliate compensation when visitors click or submit an inquiry through those listings. The listings are labeled before they appear, and using them does not change the price charged by a college or university.
The international-student school directory remains unsponsored. Schools cannot pay for a higher position in its results, comparisons or geographic pages. We do not charge students to use the directory, and students apply to and pay schools directly.
Referral fees
Sponsored education listings can compensate ApplyESL for a visitor interaction or inquiry, depending on the listing and provider arrangement. Other outbound links may include referral attribution so a destination can identify ApplyESL as the source of a visit. Tracking parameters alone do not mean that a payment arrangement exists.
What money does not buy
- Student-directory ranking. Ordering and comparisons in the international-student directory are never for sale.
- Silence. If a program is expensive, remote or hard to get a visa for, we say so.
- Inclusion. Catalog inclusion follows the published data and eligibility rules; CEA accreditation and EnglishUSA membership are distinct sources.
Sponsored program listings are separate from ApplyESL's independent credential guidance. A paid placement does not establish state approval, licensure eligibility, program quality or suitability for a visitor's goals.
