You should know who pays us before you trust what we tell you.
Current commercial relationships
ApplyESL currently has no commercial agreements with schools or other businesses, including commission, affiliate, sponsorship or paid referral arrangements. We do not charge students to use the directory. You apply to and pay the school directly.
We may establish commercial partnerships in the future. Any paid relationship will be disclosed with the relevant recommendation, placement or link.
Referral fees
Some outbound links include referral attribution so the destination can identify ApplyESL as the source of a visit. Tracking parameters alone do not mean that a payment arrangement exists. Any paid referral relationship must be disclosed where the link is presented.
What money does not buy
- Editorial ranking. Ordering and comparisons are never for sale.
- Silence. If a program is expensive, remote or hard to get a visa for, we say so.
- Inclusion. Catalog inclusion follows the published data and eligibility rules; CEA accreditation and EnglishUSA membership are distinct sources.
If we introduce paid placements, they will be labeled on the pages where they appear.
