Issued by Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board.

Official sources reviewed . Requirements can change, so confirm your route with the issuing agency before enrolling.
Wyoming Add-Endorsement Choice
A Competency Route Cannot Expand Your Grade Range
Wyoming's standard addition uses an approved program and institutional recommendation. Its Demonstration of Competency option may fit an educator adding a field at a grade level already held, but it does not extend the underlying license to another grade band.
Ask the approved provider whether it will recommend the exact ESL endorsement and grade range you seek.
Map 15 content-area semester hours, including five earned within the past five years and grades of C or better. Check the PTSB-approved Praxis exam and request a pre-evaluation if your record is uncertain.
A pre-evaluation is guidance, not an endorsement award. An added endorsement keeps the validity dates of the underlying license.
