Vermont Transcript Review

Licensed Teachers Can Request a Multilingual Learner Add-On Review

Vermont permits current license holders to seek an additional endorsement through transcript review. That process differs from an initial license and requires evidence against the current endorsement worksheet, rather than a generic certificate title.

  1. Submit the additional-endorsement application online and use the Multilingual Learner worksheet for the competencies under Rule 5440.
  2. Upload completed transcripts, course syllabi, test evidence and practicum verification that support the worksheet.
  3. For transcript review, count only completed coursework graded B or better, then wait for the agency's individual determination.

An initial applicant should use an approved preparation route. A district-initiated temporary license is a separate process and does not replace an applicant's endorsement review.
