Use the Coursework-and-Exam Addition, Not a Test-Only Request
Indiana's English Learner area cannot be added by testing alone. Its application instructions call the area English as a New Language and direct applicants through LVIS360's Add an Instructional Content Area workflow.
- Choose Add with Coursework and Exam, then identify whether your coursework was completed in state, out of state or outside the United States.
- Add the recommending institution and upload the documents required for your coursework route.
- Submit and pay through the state's NIC payment portal. Indiana sends in-state coursework to Advisor Review and out-of-state coursework to DOE Review.
If your current license expires within 90 days, Indiana allows the renewal and content-area addition to be filed together in some cases. Check the current instructions before paying separate fees.
