Question about IELTS and TOEFL

Do I need to enroll for an exam such as IELTS or TOEFL in order to gain admission to an ESL program? Carlos

Dear Carlos,
Most English programs do not require you to have taken the IELTS or TOEFL test. However, some more advanced courses such as Business or Pathway courses may require a higher level of English so be sure to read the profile carefully and make sure you meet any requirements. Many students will take a standardized test while they are studying to measure their improvement and some schools even offer specific courses to prepare for these tests.
