  • About the ESL School
  • South Beach Languages (SBL) teaches American English. SBL welcomes adult International students (16 years and older) from Europe, Latin America, Asia and all parts of the world. The school focuses on conversational English and practical English for real-life situations. We provide certified, experienced, dynamic American English teachers. In the 20+ years since our school was founded in 2003, SBL has taught thousands of students.
    
    There are 2 main programs, ‘English Intensive’ and ‘English Vacation’.
    
    [English Intensive]
    The English Intensive program offers 12 levels of intensive English, from the beginner level to the advanced level. These classes focus on English speaking, grammar, writing, reading and vocabulary. Students study 18+ hours per week. The school offers English Intensive classes in both locations, Miami Beach & Hollywood.
    
    The English Intensive program is designed for International students that are in the United States on the F1 student visa. SBL has permission to issue the I-20 form for F1 visa applicants who are not yet proficient in English. There is an initial placement test to determine the student’s level and a certificate is given upon completion.
    
    [English Vacation]
    The English Vacation program offers 12 levels English, from the beginner level to the advanced level. These classes focus on English speaking, grammar, writing, reading and vocabulary. SBL offers these classes in both locations, Miami Beach & Hollywood. English Part-time (Vacation) classes are designed for tourists or locals, who are permitted to take leisure classes, less than 18 hours per week. There is an initial placement test to determine the student’s level and a certificate is given upon completion.

  • South Beach Languages (SBL) offers 12 levels of English classes, from Beginner to Advanced. SBL follows the ‘Communicative Method’, emphasizing English immersion. Classes are taught by experienced, certified American teachers. Many graduates of their English program continue their studies at US Universities.
