  • ILSC provides students with the opportunity to enjoy a homestay experience. Homestays are an ideal option for those students who want to experience the local culture as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus residences are also available; however students must make their own arrangements.

  • ILSC Vancouver is located in downtown Vancouver. Downtown is Vancouver's primary business district, houses many arts, entertainment, and sports venues, and is close to several vibrant residential communities. A peninsula, Downtown is bounded by Burrard Inlet on the north, False Creek and the popular district of Yaletown to the south. The West End neighbourhood and world-famous Stanley Park are to the west, and the popular historic districts of Gastown, Chinatown, and Strathcona are to the east. Vancouver’s amazing landscapes offer outdoor adventures for every interest, from skiing and snowboarding, to hiking, stand-up paddle boarding and bicycling, or just relaxing with friends on local beaches.   • Programs at ILSC Vancouver are many and varied for every type of student.
    
    The programs include General English, University Pathway, Creative and Cultural English, English through Humanities, Academic and Test Preparation, Business English, Junior Camps in Vancouver and at The University of British Columbia, High School Bridge, 30+, IELTS and Cambridge Preparation, Medical English, and Volunteer Experience English. Students are able to join ILSC's programs any week of the year though some programs have set start dates. While programs are varied, all students can expect to be in active and communicative classes with other students from around the world.
    
    Teachers are experienced and very happy to help students improve and come closer to reaching their language goals.
