  • For the past 16 years American English Center’s staff has been providing training to individuals from all over the world. As an ESL school in the USA, the staff provides students with Language training skills from beginner to advanced English level.
    
    The school’s mission is to provide an Intensive English Program (IEP) that trains a culturally diverse student body from all over the world to become fluent in American English.
    
    AEC is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA).

  • American English Center provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer an independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the school environment. The school also arranges homestays for those students who want to experience local culture first-hand as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus apartments are also available; however students must make their own arrangements.

  • AEC schools are in the central area of each city, Los Angeles and New York. The New York campus is located on the high-end area of Madison Avenue. The Los Angeles campus is in Mid-city of Los Angeles. Both locations are easily accessible to the public transportation.
    
  • About the College/University
  • AEC offers Standard English program (15 hours) for ESTA or B1 visa status, and Intensive and Academic English for a F-1 visa status. Students who aim to enter college can join our Academic English program, which prepare the students to have a smooth pathway to college.
    
    Campuses are conveniently located, so students can enjoy many different activities and training, such as dance, acting and volunteer activities along with ESL classes.

  • The American English Center offers 6 different levels from the beginner to the advanced. The school provides the placement test before the start, and places the students into an appropriate level.
    
    All instruction is immersion style, and emphasizes speaking and listening skills. In the pathway course, the student will be well-prepared for college transfer.
    
    The Intensive English program is 18 lesson hours per week. It is a perfect option for those looking to learn English on a full-time basis. The school supports those on I-20 / F1 student visas. AEC offers beginner, intermediate and advanced levels with a 1 week minimum enrollment. Each class has a maximum of 15 and classes starts every Monday.
    
    The pathway program (Academic English) offers student 22 class hours per week. This option is perfect for those looking to learn English and transfer to a college or university after language learning. AEC supports those students on an I-20 / F-1 visa. The pathway program offers beginner, intermediate and advanced levels with 1 week minimum enrollment. Students are offered free college / university admission counseling and application support.
