    • Orange Coast College provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer an independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the school environment. Homestays can be arranged for those students who want to experience local culture first-hand as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available.     • The International Education Center at Orange Coast College (IEC@OCC) is located in the middle of the OCC campus in Costa Mesa and works very closely with OCC. IEC offers 8-week sessions of intensive English and academic preparation which are carefully designed to prepare international students for successful academic and social life in the US. Those qualified students interested in enrolling at Orange Coast College may do so without taking the TOEFL/IELTS tests provided that they complete their studies at IEC. Conditional admission letters are also available for those who plan to study at OCC after the IEC program.
      OCC ranks among the top community colleges in the number of students it transfers to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. Nearly 16,000 OCC students transferred to UCs and CSUs in the past decade. Transfer Admission Guarantee is available for those who seek transfers to the University of California, Irvine, Santa Barbara, Riverside, Merced, Santa Cruz and Davis).
