Please Read Carefully Before You Apply
- Your application will be e-mailed directly to the program. It is your responsibility to follow all instructions provided in order to complete the application process. Applicants are advised to send all questions directly to the admissions office to receive the quickest response.
- Some courses may have an application. You are strongly advised to submit your application well in advance of the course starting date to ensure ample time for processing.
- ELS Language Centers, St. Paul requires you to pay a US$ 180 application fee. Please note that the application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE even if you cancel your application, do not receive your student visa, or are not accepted for admission.
- After submitting your application, your program may request that you pay a tuition deposit and submit additional documents. Programs may also require you to submit forms bearing your signature for security purposes. It is necessary to follow your program’s instructions carefully in order to complete the application process.
- Before applying to a program, please consider checking with the Embassy or Consulate to verify whether you will need to obtain a visa. If a visa is required, understand which documents will be required with your visa application. You are strongly advised to apply to your school far in advance to manage possible delays in processing.

Bank Statement
Instructions:
A current (dating back maximum of 3 months) personal bank statement or an original letter from the student’s bank, in English
OR
Both a letter/affidavit of support (above) from the student’s parents or other source of support stating that they will be responsible for the student’s expenses during his/her stay at ELS, AND a bank statement (or bank letter in English) verifying their financial ability to meet the student’s expenses, in English
