Please Read Carefully Before You Apply
- Your application will be sent directly to the program via email. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions provided by the school in order to complete the application process. Applicants are advised to send questions directly to the school admissions office to ensure the quickest response.
- Some courses may have an application deadline. You are strongly advised to submit your application well before the course start date to ensure there is adequate time for processing.
- When submitting your application, prepare to send a copy of your passport to the school. You may also be required to pay a tuition deposit and submit additional documents. Your program may also require you to submit forms with your signature for security purposes. Please follow the instructions from your program carefully in order to complete the enrollment process.
- You must obtain a student visa in order to legally study abroad and enroll in your chosen English program. When applying for your student visa, you will submit the required forms received from your school, and other documents, to the designated embassy or consulate. We encourage you to apply to your school well in advance of your start date, to give you sufficient time to have your student visa processed.

The United States government requires all international applicants to provide proof of ability to pay tuition and living expenses before a formal letter of admission or the forms needed for obtaining a visa can be issued.
Your financial statement must show a minimum available balance of:
Summer Intensive English Program
·One session (~2 months) : $7,617 USD
·Two sessions (~4 months): $15,234 USD
Intensive English Program Academic Semester
·One Semester (~4 months) : $15,234 USD
·Two semesters (~8 months): $30,468 USD
·Three semesters (~12 months): $45,706 USD
Intensive English Program Extended Academic Semester
·One Extended Academic Semester (~6 months): $22,851 USD
This amount would be enough for all of your educational and living expenses.
One of the following is required for your financial statement:
·A current personal bank statement or letter from your bank
·A bank statement from your parent, guardian, employer or sponsor PLUS a current letter of support
·A scholarship letter from your government or sponsoring organization
Please note that documents need to be dated and the name on these documents must be written in English.

For transfer students who already have a visa and who wish to transfer their I-20 to USC International Academy, we require a copy of the:

·Visa with most recent entry stamp
·Most recent I-94
·Current I-20
Additional Document: Pay $175 Application Fee to USC

In order to process your application, the $175 application fee must be paid in one of the following ways:

Cashier’s check drawn on U.S. dollars from a U.S. bank
Personal check drawn on U.S. dollars from a U.S. bank
Travelers checks in U.S. dollars
Please note: Payment in cash will not be accepted for any fees. If you send a check, please make the check out to USC and write the student’s name on the bottom.
