IIC operates on the calendar year and offers three sessions of 16 weeks each, offering rolling admissions so that students may begin their studies at their convenience. In order to complete a level, a student will study for 16 weeks.
IIC is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. As such, all students are required to study for 18 hours per week.
In General English classes, which range from beginning to advanced level courses, students focus on the four main English skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. During class, students engage with their classmates in communicative activities to deepen language learning.
IIC's intensive TOEFL Preparation Program is designed to help students acquire the skills and confidence necessary to achieve their desired TOEFL score. Students will learn strategies for tackling the TOEFL test and get hands-on experience with real examples.
The Business English Program is designed to give students exposure to English in a business context. Students will practice writing business-related documents, engaging in business-related conversations, and learning vocabulary and grammar that is helpful in a business or workplace environment.
