密集英語課程 (Intensive English Course)
- 課程内容
- 密集英語課程全年開課，學生可依自己學習計劃自由選擇短期或長期課程。此課程致力於讓學生在一定的時間內最有效地提高英語水準, 適合希望提高綜合英語能力和達成學術目標的學生。每個星期的課時為30堂課，並可利用多媒體電腦教室進行訓練。學校實行小班教育，確保質量。班級平均人數6-14名。
此課程協助各種英語程度的同學提高文法、閱讀、寫作、口語及聽力的綜合英語能力，另外配合特訓課程增強學生在其他領域的英語能力：例如文法字彙、發音專題、商業英語、考試準備等。學校注重對學生的個人指導，課程根據學生不同的需求而設計，並且不斷地透過回饋而改善課程。課外，學校鼓勵學生參加旅遊及其他學校規劃的社交活動，藉由實際應用讓學生在不同主題內容的英語溝通能力和跨文化交流上取得進步。

密集學年課程 （每週30堂課） (Academic Semester/Year - Intensive)
- 課程内容
- 此課程於全年度的每週一開課，學生可自由選擇24週或24週以上的課程，每週30堂課（22.5小時）。此課程適合於有中長期遊留學計劃、希望強化各項英語能力或是希望將來進修大學/研究所課程的學生。課程的一大特點是學生可以在2所或更多所EC語言中心完成此學年課程（每所至少12週）。因爲是長期課程，學生可享受到最大的學費優惠。
課程設計的重點在於加強學生英語的順暢流利，學習重點強調必要的文法、發音、會話用語、慣用的片語和字彙，加強學員溝通的技巧，並且極有信心的使用英語。課程從初級到高級分6個等級，學生將在開課前接受英語程度考試來分班，然後在導師團隊的帶領下循序漸進地接受指導。學生將收到一份個人學習專案，以便於課程中計畫及記錄學習進度，提升學習效能。到了中級程度，學生可以按照自己需要加強的領域選擇“工作生活英語”或是“考試準備英語”方案。選擇“考試準備英語”方案的學生可以定期接受托福TOEFL或雅思IELTS考試。學校為學年課程的學生專門配置了學術顧問，定期監督學生的進程。期末學生將發現自己說英語的能力大幅提升，而且在日常生活中也能應對自如。

The groups are small and the teacher can pay attention to you easily. They have a different way to teach English that is fun and quick. I also like all the different activities that you can do in just a day. There are so many things to do and time flies in New York! There are a lot of nationalities and you can meet people from all around the world at EC New York.

I chose New York because I had always wanted to live in one of the most inspiring and exciting cities in the world. The city is amazing not only for its famous landmarks, but also for its diversity, architecture, natural beauty and culture. You can find food, places and activities for all different tastes. Studying at EC New York couldn't be different. The teachers are amazing and funny, and their classes are very dynamic and stimulating. In these three months, I have improved my English skills more than I had expected. Also, I made some good friends from all over the world, and all the things that I’ve learned from them have been priceless. I recommend EC NY for those who want to learn English in this exciting city that never sleeps!

New York is a great city and you can do what ever you want, there is something for every taste. You can enjoy the nature in Central Park, you can go shopping, walk near the Hudson River, see a musical and more. I like the teachers because they are really motivated. You can have fun and learn at the same time. There are many students so you make friends. The classrooms are nice and I like my class. In the afternoon I like the business class and the Cambridge course. My favourite EC Activity was going to the 'US Open' game! My accommodation was near the school, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. I would come back to EC New York again.

I Love New York!I love New York. It's my favourite city because it's a mix of a lot of cultures. I have met many people from different countries, and I have become friends with them. It's amazing how different or similar our cultures are. I have even learned some words like "Hello" in Japanese, Korean and French; it's so different, but it is really nice to know. I have always thought that the best way to learn a language is to go to the country where you can hear it every day. It's really a good practice and you learn very quickly! Why do I like EC? EC is cool, nice, big and the teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I think you can never get bored in classes. The classes are interesting and fun. You learn so much!
