- IEC 는 학생들이 교내 기숙사를 이용할 수 있도록 도와줍니다. 캠퍼스 내에서 생활하는 것은 교실과 캠퍼스 내에서의 다양한 활동에 참여하기에 매우 편합니다. 그러나 기숙사는 한정되어있으므로 가능한 빨리 지원하는 것이 좋습니다. 학교에서는 또한 교외의 아파트를 소개해 줄 수 있지만, 결정과 절차적인 것은 학생 스스로 해야 합니다. 기타 사항은 Contact Address를 이용해 학교로 직접 연락해주시기 바랍니다.

집중 영어 연수 프로그램 (Intensive English, Pathway to CU, Legal English Program)
- 프로그램 설명
- IEC의 프로그램은 미국에 있는 2년제 혹은 4년제 대학에 진학 준비를 하고 있는 외국 학생에게 적합합니다. 정규 코스는 8주이며 주당 20-24시간의 교실 지도로 이루어집니다. 집중 영어연수 과정은 초급부터 고급까지7단계로 이루어집니다: 100 (Introductory), 200 (High Introductory), 300 (Low Intermediate), 400 (Intermediate), 500 (High Intermediate), 600 (Low Advanced), 700 (Advanced). 100과 200단계는 학생들이 기본 의사 소통 수준의 영어를 구사할 수 있도록 도와줍니다. 300에서 500 단계는 독해와 작문 능력에 더 중점을 두어 학생들에게 영어의 구조에 대해 전반적으로 이해할 수 있도록 교육합니다. 600과 700 단계는 학생들이 대학의 학업에 따라가도록 준비시켜주며, 독해와 작문 능력에도 중점을 두고 있습니다. 600과 700단계를 만족스럽게 완성한다면, 이는 미국 대학에서의 학문적 학습을 위한 영어 구사 능력을 갖추었다고 볼 수 있습니다. 정규 IEC 프로그램을 통한 학습 이외에, 600단계를 시작하는 학생들은 University of Colorado에서 3시간짜리 강의를 수강할 수 있습니다.

8명중7분이 이 평가가 도움이 되었다고 투표 하였습니다.コロラド大学（ボルダー校）語学センターについて9月から東海岸の大学院への留学を控え、その前に別の土地を経験するため、コロラド大学（ボルダー校）にて7月の約1ヶ月間の短期コースに滞在しました。講師は経験豊富で、授業は楽しく学ぶ雰囲気です（ディスカッションやプレゼン機会は数える程度）。その他授業外でも、メジャーリーグ観戦やラフティングなど（任意参加）、授業外でも講師及び留学生と触れ合える場を提供してもらい、良い思い出です。滞在施設は大学の寮であり、設備的に満足とはいえませんが大きな不満はありませんでした。事務の方にも、大学院への転校手続きも親切にサポートしてもらいました。
個人的には満足で、他の人にもお勧めできると思いますが、厳しく自分を追い込んで英語を学びたい方にはイメージが違うかもしれません。

They would do whatever it takes just so that you can understand a certain topic. I think the reason why I like that is because I am from a country where teachers don't really care much about the students. So having caring teachers made me happy. Studying at the IEC didn't feel like studying at all! It was just fun. With all the activities that helped me a lot with my learning experience, and all the trips we would do. Basically, the IEC gave the opportunity to live a real learning experience, which is something that would have been impossible if I just stayed in Kuwait, so..thank you :).

I have a deeper understanding of English and America. I improved my pronunciation and grammar dramatically here. I like the diversity environment most; staff was willing to help me whenever I had any problems. It is a diverse and inclusive place which means there are so many international students.

Responsibility to learnI really appreciate the IEC and the...attendance policy. This makes students take the responsibility to learn. The teachers and students are very friendly regardless of culture differences. The IEC is a good place for international students to improve their English proficiency.

In addition, the IEC provided me with excellent opportunities to learn American culture through class activities, as well as to make friends with international students from many countries around the world. There is a lot of information and knowledge with regards to this course, but the instructors did an excellent job of pinpointing my weak areas and encouraging me to overcome them. Boulder and the CU campus were a great place to live. I really enjoyed my hike to Audubon peak and my camping trip in West Magnolia.

I found the IEC is the place to accomplish my goal. The IEC is a great place and I am glad I chose this center from among many other options.The International English Center is an excellent environment to have a great experience and develop strong academic language skills. I am very comfortable here with all these great people; students, teachers and staff. The teachers are highly qualified. I have made a lot of friends here from all over the world and that has helped me to practice my English most of the time. Life here in Boulder is very nice. The public transportation system, beautiful nature, a wide variety of activities and very nice people are all factors that make me love living here in Boulder.

Surrounded by nature in pure air, you will discover new things here. You can participate in exciting events.
