-Must certify that the money is currently on deposit in liquid assets.
-May include checking or savings accounts, certificate of deposits, or money market accounts. However, value assessments of properties or stocks/investments, salary information, mortgages, etc. are not acceptable.
-Must be in English or translated to English.
-Date of issuance must be clearly listed on the document and be within last 6 months.
-Bank letters must include the printed name, job title, stamp, and original signature of a bank representative.
Applicants who will be financially sponsored by his/her employer, home government or university must provide an Official Letter of support from the scholarship or fellowship source with the current date and a signature indicating the amount and duration of the award. The letter should also include the applicant’s name and state that it is valid specifically for enrollment in the Intensive English Program.
NOTE: Students visiting Raleigh with an F2, J2, or B visa can enroll in 3-22 hours per week of instruction as a part-time IEP student if they are not planning on further study in the United States.)

[NOTE] Summer is best for new students who are very motivated and have at least a TOEFL iBT 70, IELTS Academic 6.0, Duolingo 90, or who place into our Levels 5 and 6. Level 4 is typically NOT offered during the summer due to low demand. The summer session is recommended for returning students due to its shortened schedule and even more intensive nature. However, they do occasionally accept new students into the 10-week summer session.
