NASA, the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research fund research projects at Texas A&M. Enrollment in ELI will provide you access to all Texas A&Ms outstanding facilities: campus libraries and computer laboratories, state-of-the-art recreational facilities, student health center, sporting and entertainment events. Your ELI classmates will include international students who are co-enrolled in graduate and undergraduate classes in Texas A&M academic departments. American conversation partners will meet you outside of class and occasionally join you in ELI classes. ELI instructors are highly-qualified, experienced professionals with master's or doctoral degrees in English, Linguistics, Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), or in related fields.
