Hello from Cheney, Washington!
I am the Director of the English Language Institute (ELI) at Eastern Washington University. I would like to welcome you to this fine, accredited institute on ApplyESL.com. When I was a university student, I went on a study-abroad to Florence, Italy. I have always said that it changed my life. Maybe coming to the ELI will be your first step into study-abroad and life changing experiences. The ELI provides our students with the highest-quality English language instruction to help them integrate into the mainstream of higher education. Our students are provided with International Peer Advisors for conversation practice and field trip opportunities, Cultural Mentors to help students adjust to American life, and state-of-the-art facilities to encourage individual skill practice and growth. In their free time, students enjoy exploring the friendly town of Cheney and its surrounding areas including the beautiful mountain ranges with world-class skiing and nearby Spokane, Washington's third-largest city.
