: : About the School

Founded in 1989, Archer College provides excellent language learning instruction to non-native English speakers to help them quickly reach their academic goals. Operating under the experienced guidance of the Archer Education Group, Archer College offers rigorous academic curriculums among its three locations in Toronto, Vancouver and Hamilton - an intimate city outside of Toronto. At Archer College, students study in complete, comprehensive programs to improve their English language skills in all areas through practical communication and effective skills-building exercises. As an added benefit, students intending to study in degree programs after achieving an advanced level of English have the option of transferring to Archer College's fully-accredited university transfer programs without requiring a TOEFL exam. Archer College's collaboration with select universities provides its graduates the opportunity to continue their studies and complete an undergraduate degree in Canada. These universities include: Royal Roads University; Cape Breton University; and Athabasca University. With Canada being one of the safest, most welcoming and beautiful countries in the world, students are encouraged to see and experience life outside of the classroom, whether independently or through the array of activities, sports, city tours and weekend trips arranged by Archer College. Archer instructors incorporate local field trips in to their curriculum to help students practice their English, see more of the local environment and meet friendly Canadians. The Archer Education Group is a member of the Canadian Education Centre Network (CECN); Archer College Hamilton is also a member of the Canadian Language Industry Association (AILIA).
