Founded in 1972, Embassy CES is a group of prestigious private language schools that produce successful and satisfied students. Over the past three decades, Embassy CES has helped more than half a million international students significantly improve their English skills and prepare them for academic study at a college or university. The Centers are located amongst 18 of the best-known cities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand in order to offer students exposure to different cross-cultural ideas in vibrant urban environments that will deepen their English communication skills and cultural understanding. Many instructors are experienced specialists that are qualified to teach international students using a wealth of modern teaching techniques. The curriculum they instruct is dynamic and carefully planned where ideas are easier to grasp and practiced through classroom discussion and real-life situation simulations. Embassy CES operates under the experienced guidance of Study Group, a well-respected global leader in the field of international education and training. Spanning its presence in five continents, Study Group operates 18 teaching centers, 17 regional offices and 3 international admissions centers to solidify its global and local network. Embassy CES is a proud member of AAIEP, the American Association of Intensive English Programs promoting professional standards and high-quality English programs.

Faculty Qualifications |

| Embassy CES instructors are highly-qualified, native speaking professionals. Many instructors have lived and traveled abroad and have extensive training and experience teaching English to students from around the world. The personal and academic qualities of Embassy CES instructors make each uniquely qualified to offer meaningful language-learning opportunities and to care deeply about their students. |

| Embassy CES provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer a more independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the campus environment. Homestays are also a living option for those students who want to experience the local culture as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus apartments are also available; however students must make their own arrangements. For more information, use the Contact Address to ask the school directly. |

| The Embassy CES New York Center is located just south of the Empire State Building in the heart of New York City. As the most populous city in the United States, New York City is home to nearly 8.2 million people and to an unsurpassed collection of world-class museums, art galleries, international corporations, stock exchanges, performance centers and world-famous media outlets. Often called "The City that Never Sleeps," New York City - or Manhattan - lives up to its famous reputation for its active, fast-paced urban environment while its residents take pride in living amid the crowds, noise and the general hardships of city life. Regarded as the model of the American ideal of a "melting pot," New York City is home to a greater diversity of immigrant groups than any other American city, giving New York a true international flavor. Though the city is home to countless distinct ethnic groups - from Irish and Chinese to Puerto Rican and Iranian - regardless of their origin, these groups share the common identity as being New Yorkers. Being centrally-located in the core of the "Big Apple," the center has easy access to the Metro - the City's convenient public transportation system - to explore Manhattan's eclectic neighborhoods, whether to experience Chinatown's bustling streets, soak in the energy of Times Square, stroll through majestic Central Park or sample some of the latest restaurants in the Lower East Side. There are plenty of exciting places to explore in the surrounding boroughs, as well. Historic Yankee Stadium and the famous Bronx Zoo are popular destinations while many visit the Japanese Botanical Gardens and legendary Coney Island in Brooklyn or the great Shea Stadium - home to the New York Mets - in Queens. Regarded as the capital city of the world, New York City offers an education onto itself and provides endless opportunities to tap into its energy, enjoy its diversity and to experience a city unlike any other. |
