Founded in 1987, FLS International has grown from a small neighborhood school to a prominent group of six private language centers, including five centers housed on the American university and college campuses of Citrus College, Lock Haven University, MiraCosta College, Oxnard College, and the College of Southern Nevada. In addition to attending classes on-campus, FLS students also gain full access to campus facilities, including modern athletic facilities, computer labs with Internet access, libraries, and language labs. Learning from highly-qualified, native speaking instructors, students study from a well-developed curriculum designed to hone their English skills in the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. To complement their 'core class' study, students also select from a wide variety of elective classes to study topics pertinent to their individual interests, such as American Culture, Life Skills, TOEFL Preparation, Business English, and Composition. As part of the IEP curriculum, FLS regularly organizes exciting social and cultural activities for students to practice their newly-acquired English skills while visiting dozens of local, popular attractions. FLS International is a proud member of AAIEP, the American Association of Intensive English Programs promoting professional standards and high-quality English programs.

| FLS, Boston provides students with the opportunity to live in an off-campus residence or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer a more independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the campus environment. LSI also arranges homestays for those students who want to experience the local culture first-hand as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus apartments may also available; however students must make their own arrangements. For more information, use the Contact Address to ask the school directly. |

| The FLS International Boston Center is located in the area known as Boston Common in downtown Boston, nearby the dynamic Theatre and Financial Districts and a short walk from the city's subway, bus and train stations. As the capital and largest city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Boston is one of the most historic cities in the United States. Nicknamed the "City on a Hill" or most famously "Beantown," Boston was founded in 1630 by its original Native American inhabitants and is now home to an estimated 570,000 Bostonians. Widely recognized as being America's greatest college town, Boston is often called the Athens of America as it is dubbed the nation's educational capital that houses more than 60 colleges and universities in the area, creating an atmosphere rich with artistic, social and intellectual opportunities. Many consider Boston a highly cultured city, perhaps due to its intellectual reputation, and is home to such renowned performing arts groups as the Boston Ballet, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops, the Boston Lyric Opera Company and the Handel and Haydn Society, the oldest choral company in the United States. Sports enthusiasts do not have a problem in finding a team to cheer for in Boston, a city home to dedicated fans that are serious about their sports teams, including the Boston Celtics (NBA basketball), the New England Patriots (NFL football), the Boston Bruins (NHL hockey), the New England Revolution (soccer) and the historic, much beloved 2004 World Series champions, the Boston Red Sox. There are countless opportunities for Boston residents to enjoy easy weekend getaways along the East Coast, whether it is to go sightseeing in Providence, New York City or Montr饌l, feast on lobster in Maine, hike New Hampshire's White Mountains or explore the magnificent beaches of Cape Cod. |
