This is a 4-week (1 session) long program. It provides 25 hours per week of instruction. Students select their own course length when registering at the beginning of each new session.
The program offers four levels of instruction from intermediate to Advanced. Placement in these levels depends upon the results of a Placement Test and Intake Assessment (oral interview) which will be taken on the first day of class. To enroll in this program, students have to be placed in high-intermediate to advanced level of English, have attained a 450 TOEFL score or have equivalent abilities.
The Business English Program (BEP) is ideal for students planning to study business in an English-speaking context or whose career plans require English. This innovative program gives students the English language skills, technical knowledge, and confidence required in today's fast-paced market. Through use of the latest software on laptop computers or state-of-the-art desktop computers, students will learn about word processing, spreadsheets, database management and graphics, and Internet basics.
The Business English Program focuses on communication and building business-oriented vocabulary. Through role-play and small group work, students will gain a deeper understanding of international business issues. Students may also focus on specific areas of interest such as: Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Marketing and Advertising, Banking and Finance, Resume Writing and Presentation Skills. Contact school for current topics. Course content may vary depending on enrollment.
Class sizes generally range from 10 to 14 students per class. Every effort is made to keep classes at an ideal size for effective English language instruction. |
