The program is offered year-round with sessions beginning every two weeks. Students enrolled in the program receive 30 hours of classroom instruction per week: 25 hours of classroom-based English instruction and 5 hours of structured study lab time.

The program is offered at 5 levels of instruction from introductory to advanced. Upon their arrival at the center, students' English skills are assessed in the areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking to ensure their proper placement in to an ability level. At the end of their session, students are given an End of Level test to gauge their progress and determine their readiness to advance to the next level of English study.

As one of the center's most popular courses, the curriculum for the Intensive English Program is primarily designed for students who want to improve their overall English ability. The challenging curriculum and intensive schedule are designed for both the general English language learner and the academically-bound student. This full-time program integrates the four key elements of language learning - listening, speaking, reading and writing. The rigorous curriculum accelerates students' learning by combining classroom work, computer lab practice and an array of specialized workshops that focus on developing specific English skills.

Outside of the classroom, the center organizes plenty of opportunities for students to practice their English in a natural environment, including hiking and camping trips, lunch and dinner parties and on-campus sports competitions. Students can independently participate in local year-round festivals held throughout the city, attend professional sports games or go sightseeing to explore some of the city's vibrant, eclectic neighborhoods.

Classroom sizes average 10 students per class with a maximum of 15 students. Every effort is made to keep classes at an ideal size for effective English language instruction.
