  • HOFT Institute offers academic core classes for all levels in reading, writing, listening/speaking, and grammar. In addition to these core classes, we offer intensive TOEFL preparation courses and academic electives for both low and high level students.
    
    Our intensive English program is available both as a 2-day or 4-day option; each option includes 18 hours each week of classes.

  • HOFT Institute provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences. For students who prefer an independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the school environment. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available.

  • HOFT Institute is next to the University of Texas in Austin. Student housing, laundromats, grocery stores and restaurants are across the street. HOFT is close to public transportation, libraries, indoor gyms, public volleyball courts, walking paths, and more!

  • HOFT Institute has over 30 years of education experience in Austin, Texas. The school partners with local universities to offer quality Intensive English programs that prepare students for university transfers. HOFT also provides TOEFL waivers for many local universities, and free academic advising and workshops for students.
    
    All students enjoy a warm, family-style atmosphere with a rigorous academic curriculum.

  • Every morning in the 4-day program, classes begin at 9:00AM and finish at 2:00PM. Students have lunch together on campus every day in the kitchen and dining area. Students receive additional conversation practice after school.
    
    HOFT’s student areas have fun activities: volleyball, table tennis, and more! Each month, we create fun group activities for students of all ages. The school creates special activities for older students ages 40+ as well.
    
    Students can use the computer lab any time to study English, TOEFL, IELTS, TSI, GMAT, and GRE.
