- Transworld Schools provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer an independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the school environment. The school also arranges homestays for those students who want to experience local culture first-hand as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus apartments are also available; however students must make their own arrangements. For more information, ask the school directly.

- Transworld Schools has been a cornerstone of the Bay Area ESL community for almost 20 years. Located in downtown San Francisco, students enjoy unparalleled access to everything the city has to offer. The spacious and modern school occupies 3 floors with 12 classrooms, a computer lab, and 3 student lounge and dining areas. More than 60 different nationalities are currently present on the campus and attend classes and participate in a variety of organized activities such as museum excursions, holiday and sports activities and movie nights. Transworld Schools ensures that our student’s experience both inside and outside the classroom is a rewarding one.

- About This Course
- Transworld Schools offers a variety of courses to suit a learner’s individual language needs. All courses include classes in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. In addition, specialized electives allow students to customize their courses to target specific areas of their ESL skills, such as grammar review, vocabulary, speaking, writing, Business English and TOEFL , TOEIC and IELTS examination preparation.
Students who wish to study at a university or college in the United States can prepare for this by enrolling in Transworld Schools’ popular TOEFL Preparation and Academic Preparation courses which focus on the writing, speaking, reading and listening test skills students need to succeed in the exam and in college. - Course Data
