- テキサス大学オースティン校付属の集中英語プログラム、English Language Centerは全米を代表する大学の一つである当大学の刺激的でアカデミックな環境で英語を学べる機会を提供しており、集中英語プログラム(ELP)と大学進学準備プログラム(AEP)の二つのプログラムがある。ELPは初級から上級までの7レベルに分かれ、将来の大学進学のための語学準備として、また日常生活や仕事上で必要とされる英語力の向上など様々な目標に対応している。AEPは初中級から上級までの4レベルに分かれ、学士号をすでに取得し修士、または博士課程を目指す学生のためのユニークなプログラム内容となっている。クラス外でも、オースティンの名所への訪問や週毎に企画されている交流を目的とした様々なイベントやカンバセーショングループに参加したりと楽しみながら学ぶことができる教育環境を提供している。教授陣、スタッフ共に学生それぞれの目標が叶うようサポートに努めている。

- 一年を通して開講しており、月～金まで週18時間のクラスでの授業と毎日の課題がある。クラスは参加型の授業となっており、アメリカの大学での授業に必要とされる厳選された読み物に基づいたリーディング、リサーチペーパー力を鍛えるライティング、プレゼンテーション力、参加型のグループディスカッション、講義の理解力など深める授業内容となっている。主要なコースはリスニング/スピーキング、ライティング、文法、そしてリーディング/ディスカッションとなっており、6週間の選択クラスの受講も可能でTOEFL(iBT)、IELTS、GRE対策クラス、そして発音矯正などがある。

My experience studying abroadI’m from Mexico and I decided last year to study abroad. If I would have known that the Campus was huge, I’ll probably thought it twice but I was able to meet people from all around the world. About classes, teachers just make sure that everyone is understanding what they teach and that you are enjoying while learning. All socials that school offers are amazing, I will definitely choose again the University of Texas at Austin.

ELC Program at UTEstudiar inglés en UT en Austin Texas es una buena idea porque tienes profesores altamente calificados. Las clases cuentan con un número de alumnos limitados y eso permite que los profesores trabajen más de cerca contigo ayudándote a despejar tus dudas sobre el idioma. Además el ambiente en la universidad es agradable ya que tiene cientos de eventos y espacios disponibles para socializar con otros y practicar el idioma que estás aprendiendo o, incluso, si estás en otras áreas de conocimiento te permite interactuar con otros y compartir experiencias y conocimientos. También ten en cuenta que la experiencia adquirida en la universidad depende en gran medida de tu personalidad y de tus objetivos.

The ELP at UT AustinI’ve spent more than three months in Austin, Texas and during that period I met many people and have a lot of new friends. The people in Texas are so social that everyone says howdy to the other even if they don't know them. Regarding the ELP, it is one of the best programs in the U.S. As I always meet high-level scholarship students who came, for example, from SABIC, KAUST, and ARAMCO, having such students is proof that the English Language Program is very good.

The Best Experience in My LifeThe program at UT ESL was the best experience in my life. Austin is a great place for English study because there are many multi-cultural things to do.
