After Submitting Application

Submitted Application & Have Not Received School’s Response

Contact your school via email if you have not received a response after submitting your online application. In your email, you must clearly state your full name, the date you applied and the course starting date to receive prompt and accurate assistance. Explain to your school that you submitted an online application and have not received a response.

E-mail Sample:

Subject: A Question Concerning my Application
Dear Sir or Madam:

Please note I sent an online application to your program through ApplyESL.com on March 3, 2010. I applied to your 8-week Intensive English Course beginning on June 1, 2010.

Nearly 10 days have passed since I sent my application however I have not received a response from your school nor any instructions to complete the application process.

Please check the status of my application and inform me of the next steps needed to process my application.

I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Cancellation After Submitting Application

Applicants must contact their program’s admissions office as soon as possible if they need to cancel their application after submitting it online. In their correspondence via email, applicants must explain to the admissions office the reason why they cannot attend the program and clearly provide their full name, the date applied to the program and the course starting date. In most circumstances, the program’s application fee is non-refundable.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing today to cancel my application.

On June 10, I applied to your 8-week Intensive English Course beginning on September 1, 2010 through ApplyESL.com’s online application service.  Regretfully, however, I will not be able to attend your school’s program due to personal circumstances.

Correction Required on Application Form

You must contact your school as soon as possible via e-mail if corrections are required to your application form after submitting it online. In the email to your school, state your full name, the date you applied and the course starting date in order to receive prompt attention to your application. You are advised to clearly state the mistake currently on your application and, then, note the correction to be made.

E-mail Sample:

Subject: Correction on my Application Form
Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing to note a correction on my application form that was sent to your program through ApplyESL.com.

On June 10, I applied to your 8-week Intensive English Course beginning on September 1, 2010 through ApplyESL.com’s online application service.

The phone number noted on my application form was a mistake. The correct phone number should read: +33 1 4445555.
