Jet Lag

A physical condition characterized by fatigue and irritability that occurs after long flights through several time zones. Depending on the distance from your home country to your destination country, you too may temporarily suffer from jet lag. However, do not be alarmed, your will soon adjust to the time difference.

J-1 Visa / J-1 Student

The "J" Visa is for educational and cultural exchange programs designated by the US Department of State, Exchange Visitor Program, and Designation Staff. The "J" Visa is designed to promote the interchange of persons, knowledge, and skills in the fields of education, arts, and sciences.

Junior College

An educational institution offering a program of courses over a two-year period that is generally the equivalent to the first two years of a four-year undergraduate course.
