Grade-Point Average (GPA)
The most common method of measuring students' academic performance in a course. At the end of each term, letter grades awarded by teachers (A, B, C, D, or F) are converted into a number on a four point scale (A equaling 4.0, B 3.0, etc.) and their sum is averaged to determine your GPA for that term.
