具体的なバスの治安などは現地にいらっしゃる方にお聞きするのが一番だとは思いますが、学校があるクパチーノはサンフランシスコ周辺でも高級住宅街で治安のよい場所とされています。
あと、利点だと思われますのが、バスターミナルは学校からすぐ近く、１ブロック先という記載がございます。
治安等も含め、ホームステイの斡旋なども学校側はしているかと思いますが、学校から徒歩20分以内の安全な場所に女子専用のレジデンスもあるようです。

Hanford Home - Primarily FEMALE Residence(Student Residence (Off Campus))
Available for Female students, though Male students may occasionally be housed here, This house is a brand new duplex (built in 2014) and features three Double rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and lounge, and a spacious front yard. The managers of the AEG Student Residences live in the attached home.

Security: The AEG houses are located in a very safe and affluent residential area. A Resident Assistant is available 24 hours. Each student will receive an Orientation during their first week at the AEG and will be given rules and policies as well as safety information.
