- More Details
- Housing
- The school provides students with the opportunity to live in off-campus residences or enjoy a homestay experience. For students who prefer an independent lifestyle, off-campus residences provide more privacy and offer opportunities to interact with people in the community outside the school environment. The school also arranges homestays for those students who want to experience local culture first-hand as a member of a family and practice their conversational English. Students are encouraged to make their housing arrangements as early as possible due to the limited amount of space available. Private off-campus apartments are also available; however students must make their own arrangements. For more information, use the Contact Address to ask the school directly.
- Surrounding Area
- The school is located right in the heart of Hove. Hove is a small, friendly seaside town on the south coast of England immediately to the west of its larger neighbor city, Brighton known as a popular tourist destination with numerous hotels, restaurants and entertainment facilities. The school occupies a beautiful Victorian building in a comfortable residential area within easy reach of the city centre and the seafront.
Hove forms a single urban community together with Brighton and some smaller towns and villages running along the coast. Today, the borough of Brighton and Hove is considered an important educational and cultural center with an international reputation as one of the most fashionable cities in England. The modern city of Brighton and its surrounding area is also an important educational centre with universities and many English language schools.
Home to over 150,000 residents, Brighton is one of the largest and most famous seaside resorts in the United Kingdom. Often referred to as “London-by-the-sea”, the city offers one of the most accessible tourist beaches from London. It is an exciting city with more hours of sunshine than almost anywhere in the UK.
Today, Brighton has also become one of Europe's leading conference resorts and has regularly hosted political conferences of the main political parties. The city is a venue for a spectacular mix of events. Over the summer, the city hosts a variety of outdoor festivals that attract world-wide attention.
